Photo of the Day: If Your Photo Isn’t Good Enough, You’re Not Far Enough Away

Camera: Nikon D3s
Lens: 70-200mm VRII

I generally toe the Robert Capa line, but sometimes those long telephotos have their charms.

facebook comments:

Steve Elmer - In this case, telephoto FTW!

Josh Lamkin - What I love about this is that it’s simple, no bells and/or whistles, just great contrast, color, composition and done.

Joe Sanfilippo - Definitely an inspiring photo!

Becca Dilley - This photo is beautiful, and your changing of the quote totally cracks me up. Something Capa should have kept in mind before he died in a war zone.

Eric Kotara - Genius for making this a play on Capa, awesome.

elizabeth pellette - way cool. I am not a fan of my 70-200 I hardly use it.. its heavy and awkward.. are their ways to use it better?
